We are delighted to announce that Where Workplace Work’s partnership with Newable, has earned us the place in – not one- but two major industry award shortlists.
Just over a month ago, we were announced as finalists in the ‘Partners in SME Organisations’ category of the PFM Awards- and today, we have heard news that we have also been shortlisted for the ‘Impact on Organisational Performance’ category in the BIFM (British Institute of Facilities Management) Awards.
The BIFM Awards are the industry’s leading Awards and aim to reflect outstanding people, projects, initiatives and innovations in facilities management.
After initial applications, Where We Work and Newable reached the first stage shortlist, and subsequently, a team of BIFM Award judges invited both companies to make a presentation based on the project entry. There are three other finalists in the category – the winner of which will be announced at the BIFM Award ceremony in October.
The annual PFM Awards are also renowned for their recognition of excellence in the facilities management industry, and specifically for the forging of effective working partnerships. The awards have a determined focus on rewarding the very best examples of these partnerships, the evidence of which will now be scrutinised further by the dedicated independent judging panel.
Where Workplace Work’s partnership with Newable has earned a place with only two other companies in the ‘The partnership in SMEs’ category of the PFM Awards.
Director of Where Workplace Works, Jackie Furey said, “Both of these awards are considered to be major events in the FM industry, and both are also extremely competitive, so for our entry to reach the shortlist for both finals is already a great achievement, for both ourselves and Newable. Our partnership with Newable is something we are very proud of and the joint workplace project has reached a level of success that we believe is worthy of such industry accolades. ”
Director Graham Bird also added, “We are very proud of the services provided to Newable in helping them to implement, develop and adapt to a new modern workspace and we are also proud of the relationship we have forged with them as a result. It’s very pleasing for this project’s success to be recognised for two major awards and we are very much looking forward to both ceremonies in October and November.”
